It’s good to see a newspaper apologising to a sub-postmistress over coverage of her conviction as a victim of the Post Office Horizon failure.
Like scores of other local newspapers, the Lancashire Post accurately reported court proceedings at the time & was unaware of the wider scandal.
Despite the Post doing nothing wrong, credit to the editor, Vanessa Sims, for acknowledging the additional trauma the coverage caused Jacqueline McDonald.
I look forward to the front pages reporting the convictions of those responsible for perverting the course of justice – just a matter of time.
